Sunil holds a Bachelor s Degree in Science Accounting from the Rockford University. He has also completed an Executive Entrepreneurship Program at the Harvard Business School

Sunil is affiliated to the Young Presidents Organization / World Presidents Organization, Asian American Hotel Owners Association, International Council of Shopping Centers, and The Harvard Club of Chicago Sunil has been in active in the National, State and Winnebago County politics since the mid-80s. He has attended DNC conventions since the 1992 NY convention and was later a delegate in the 2004, 2008 and 2012 conventions. He is a Legacy Circle Member of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and a Supporter for the Vote Builder Program of the Illinois County Chairman s Association.

Sunil serves on the Board of several companies, non-profit organizations and Universities that include Rockford Area Venues and Entertainment and Rockford Womanspace Advisory Board. In the past, he has been on the Board of Blackhawk State Bank, Riverside Community Bank and Presidents Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders - appointed by President Obama.
